Woodpecker Lodge

Self Catering Holiday Lodge in Dumfries and Galloway

The Tranquil Orchards – Woodpecker Lodge is a lovely detached holiday lodge set in a peaceful location in this beautiful corner of South West Scotland.

Finished to a high standard, Woodpecker Lodge is the ideal destination for families to enjoy a holiday full of fun and adventure. Joe and his team at Garden Rooms Scotland built Woodpecker Lodge in 2011. It has been used by friends and family over the years until we decided to completely renovate it in January 2021 and the Tranquil Orchard was created.

There is plenty to keep the whole family occupied while staying in Dumfries and Galloway. A short stroll will take you to Drummuir Farm Ice Cream where you can take your pick from over 30 different flavours of ice cream and the kids are kept entertained too with an outdoor play area. This corner of South West Scotland is truly beautiful from the Solway Coast to the lush inland forests and hills. There are many interesting visitor attractions within a stones throw of Woodpecker Lodge.
